the iphone thing

If you write a blog you have to mention Paris Hilton or the iphone at least once. Don’t ask me why but it’s apparently a deadly strain of media fever which I am convinced causes blindness. You don’t even have a choice. You have to do it.

I’m hoping the pharmaceutical companies come up with a vaccine soon.

The iphone really belonged on my other blog where I write about what is surely going to be the Continuing Adventure of My Husband’s Attempts to Secure his Very Own iPhone on the day of it’s release.

Stay Tuned.

And Paris Hilton is unlikely to get any more space than I’ve already given her though I might bring up Anna Nicole Smith as a way to mess with folks.

Update (06.29.07 @ 6:30 pm or so): We Can All Rest Easy Now. We have the iPhone and it’s famous. It’s picture has made it all the way to Palo Alto (and surely beyond). I feel like a stage mom and it’s not even my phone.

psst look for our iPhone under First iPhone unboxing I’ve seen.

This is so funny. I have avoided writing anything about Paris Hilton, because, really, I don’t know that I have anything to say that hasn’t been said…but the iPhone…

Well, I’m drooling over that little invention of genius. I doubt I’ll be buying one anytime soon — I delayed on my iPod — and I’m a confirmed Crackberry…umm I mean Blackberry addict…but…my birthday is around the corner. I may have to cave.

You notice I didn’t actually SAY anything about Paris. Thats hasn’t seemed to be necessary in the past (there not being much to say about which there isn’t much). It seems that just the name or a picture will do.
There is, of course the astronaut story (you know – the diaper one) or some potential pithy discussion (for the historically inclined) about OJ. Highway chase or glove. Your pick.
Now. The thing about your birthday. I say thats a pretty-good-top-of-the-list choice. I have my fingers crossed!
My anniversary is July 3. (insert drum roll or theme song here)
and hope that our various family members have this on their rss
    :)

I’ll leave it on this note (wish there was a good way to insert links in comments.)

    The iPhone is way cool.
I just don’t know how I can justify the cost – if I were Paris Hilton I would have one :O
